Michigan Teen Impersonates FBI Agent To Test Drive Car, Crashes

YPSILANTI TOWNSHIP, Mich. (AP) - Authorities say a 17-year-old southeastern Michigan boy pretended to be an FBI agent and got a car dealer to let him test drive a Dodge Charger, then crashed the muscle car in northwestern Ohio.

The Washtenaw County sheriff's department says the teen called the Cueter Chrysler dealership in Ypsilanti Township on Wednesday and asked to test drive the car.

The department tells The Ann Arbor News that he told dealership employees he was an FBI agent. Sheriff's spokesman Derrick Jackson says the boy was carrying what appeared to be a firearm on his hip.

It turned out to be an air gun.

Jackson says the teen crashed the car near Toledo, Ohio and again presented himself as an FBI agent.

Charges haven't been announced.
