Michigan Strip Club Sparks Controversy With Sign Recruiting High School Grads [PHOTO]

HARRISON (WWJ) - A mid-Michigan strip club is stirring up controversy for its open-ended job offer to upcoming high school grads.

The marquee at Miceli's in Clare County's Harrison reads, "Now Hiring Class of 2016."

Lisa Dickerson was among residents telling CBS affiliate WNEM-TV that the sign should be taken down.

"Children fresh out of high school shouldn't be going up and taking their clothes off for money," she said. "I think it's sickening."

Lisa Mulholland shared a similar sentiment, saying high school graduates should be in college, not strip clubs.

"You don't want them showing their s*** on a pole and dancing. I just don't think it's right," she said.

Those who know the club owner say she has good intentions and wasn't trying to upset anyone.
