Michigan Misspells 'American' On Mock ESPN Cover For Recruits

Recruiting is a huge deal now. You'll all remember Georgia sent drawings to recruits that didn't end well.

Now Michigan is doing the same type of deal, working hard to get recruits. They went so far as to send mock ESPN the Magazine covers to recruits, featuring themselves in a Michigan uniform on the cover. It's a great idea to dazzle high school kids. Heck, I wouldn't mind one with a picture of myself in a Spartan uniform.

But in this case there was a glitch. Michigan, considered one of the top academic universities in the country, didn't spell check before they sent it out. The cover reads, "Michigan's All-Amercian RB Mike Weber." If I were Weber I would be a little offended. But judging by his tweet, he loved it.

How much of a screw up is this?
