This week on Michigan Matters, host Carol Cain will recap the first Michigan Chronicle "Pancakes and Politics" Breakfast Forum featuring five well-known leaders discussing the opportunities and challenges facing Detroit.

The speakers included Michael Finney, president and CEO, Michigan Economic Development Corporation; David Egner, president and CEO, Hudson Webber Foundation, George Jackson, president and CEO, Detroit Economic Growth Corporation; Audra Rush, founder and chairperson, The Rush Group; and Gregory Jackson, president and CEO, Jackson Automotive Management.

The event kicked off the ninth season of "Pancakes and Politics" and  took place Thursday, March 13, 2014 at the Detroit Economic Club.
