SOUTHFIELD, Mich. (CBS DETROIT) - Former Michigan Gov. Rick Snyder returns in an encore episode of CBS Detroit's "Michigan Matters" 8 am this Sunday to talk about SensCy – a cybersecurity company he launched  to help companies and organizations across the state prevent problems.

Snyder, the two-term Republican governor who served as CEO of Gateway, ran for elected office under the tagline of "One Tough Nerd."  He appears with Carol Cain, Senior Producer/Host, to talk about cybersecurity threats and how his company can help avoid issues. 

He also talked about his family, which has grown since he left office as he and wife, Sue, welcomed a granddaughter, and the couple adopted Zack Snyder, now 30.

Then Michael Bickers, PNC Regional president for Detroit and Southeast Michigan, Gina Coleman, PNC Chief Diversity Officer and Marshalynn Odneal, PNC National Sales Executive for Minority Business, appear on the roundtable to talk about DEI efforts in Detroit, the region and country.

 Bickers talked about the company's focus on education and financial literacy and helping the Detroit community in unique ways.

Coleman, who serves in that national job from Metro Detroit, discussed diversity efforts in key markets and the opportunities and challenges of DEI. Odneal, talked about providing more opportunities for black and minority businesses and how the company is stepping up to assist.
