'Michigan Matters' Focus: Women Rocking Autos And More

(CBS Detroit) - Women are driving the auto industry as never before and they are also having a greater impact on society.

That's the consensus of Pamela Prince-Eason, President & CEO of WBENC which just came out with its annual report card on how corporations are doing at working with women owned suppliers.

Prince-Eason talked how Ford, GM, Fiat Chrysler Automobiles, as well as Kelly Services and Kellogg ranked high on their annual list.

She was joined by Michelle Richards who also has been involved in helping women suppliers grow their businesses.

Then Sheryl Connelly, Ford Futurist, and Alana Strager, F-150 Innovation Manager, talked about females and how they are impacting how cars are designed and purchased.
