It is an exciting time to be a fan of the Michigan Wolverines.

  • We are on the heels of Michigan debuting their new uniforms that are sponsored by Jumpman.
  • Jim Harbaugh has done everything under the sun in order to get his team's name in the news.
  • Jabrill Peppers is ranked a top 10 player by almost every publication that talks about college football.

Fans of the team are believing the hype, according to ESPN and bets being placed in Las Vegas. ESPN.com says, "More bets have been placed on the Michigan Wolverines to win the national title than any other team at multiple Las Vegas sportsbooks."

More money has been bet on Michigan to win the championship than on any other team at the SuperBook, and Jim Harbaugh's squad has attracted 10 percent of all the national title bets at William Hill's Nevada book. The Wolverines also have attracted the most bets to win the title at the MGM and Westgate sportsbooks.

The story also has updated odds for the Michigan Wolverines to win the national title. They started at 15-1 and has now moved to 7-1.

Michigan opens the season against Hawaii at 41 point favorites. Michigan has a relatively easy schedule to start the season as they host Hawaii, Central Florida, Colorado, Penn State, Wisconsin before they go on the road to face Rutgers. They do have an uphill battle as they will face Iowa, Michigan State and Ohio State on the road.

The only team in the nation that has better odds than the Wolverines is Alabama at 6-1.
