Michigan Company's Rating System Could Help You Decide Where To Move

AUBURN HILLS (WWJ) -- If you are thinking of moving to a different community, there may now be a way to determine where you could be happiest.

Bob Kittle, president and of Munetrix, said that the organization creates data the yields a score -- similar to a FICO score -- for local governments, but also for residents who may be thinking about moving.

Kittle said that the score takes into account all of the biggest factors.

"Neighborhoods, the school district, the quality of education, crime rates, open spaces, livable, walkable communities, economic development -- we house all of the information in one location so the you can actually look and study, and help you determine what area it is that you might want to live in," Kittle said.

A lower score means the community is a lower risk, a higher score and the community is a higher risk. A breakdown of communities in Wayne County can be found of the company's website HERE.
