DETROIT (WWJ) - Two types of bread rolls sold at Meijer stores have been recalled due to undeclared nuts.

Muskegon-based R.W. Bakers is recalling packages of "Meijer Plain Knot Rolls" and "Assorted Dinner Rolls" because they may have traces of peanuts which are not a listed ingredient.

No illnesses have been reported in connection these products, the company says, but people who have allergies to nuts could have a reaction if they eat the rolls.

The recalled "Meijer Plain Knot Rolls" were distributed in Meijer retail stores in Michigan, Ohio, Indiana, Illinois, Wisconsin, and Kentucky and sold between the dates of 3/6/16 and 3/28/16. The product comes in an 8 ct., clear plastic bag package. The lot number on the master case 16061 with a production date of 3/1/16. The UPC code is 0-41250-09971-0 and is located at the bottom of the package label underneath the bar code.

The recalled "Assorted Dinner Rolls 128 ct." were distributed to food service distributors in Michigan and Wisconsin. The product comes in an 8 ct., clear plastic bag package. (The lot number 16041 with a production date of 2/10/16 is only found on the master case of the product).

An investigation found the problem was caused by a temporary breakdown in R.W. Bakers production and packaging processes.

Customers who wish to may return the rolls to the store of purchase for a refund.
