By Edward Cardenas

DETROIT (CBS Detroit) - Jess McClary hopes to bring handcrafted small- and micro-batch drinking and culinary vinegars to Detroit.

McClary's business, McClary Bros. Outpost, is one of 10 semi-finalists announced in the competition to win a $50,000 grant from Comerica Bank and legal, marketing, accounting and IT support from Hatch Detroit.

McClary Bros. combines "organic, unpasteurized apple cider vinegar with fresh, seasonal ingredients and organic cane sugar.  The result is a refreshing, exciting mixer that we know you'll enjoy as a cocktail or shrub soda," the company states.

She is planning on opening a facility that would be a tasting room, soda shoppe and bottling facility in Corktown.

To cast a vote for the best business plan, visit the Hatch Detroit website.
Voters have until 11:59 p.m. Thursday to cast a vote for their favorite business.
CBS Detroit will be posting profiles of all the Hatch Detroit semi-finalists.
