Mayor Duggan: At Least 1,000 Workers Needed To Help Count Absentee Ballots

(CBS DETROIT) - Mayor Mike Duggan says at least 1,000 volunteers are needed to help count absentee ballots.

City of Detroit employees will work at the Clerk's office on election day.

Duggan also says Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan and Quicken Loans are sending over employees to help.

Detroit is expecting roughly 200,000 mail-in ballots on election day.
