Mark Dantonio Names Failed Trick Play 'Frozen' After Disney Movie

During Mark Dantonio's seven seasons at Michigan State he has had some of the best trick plays in college football.

If you remember, against Notre Dame back in 2010, Dantonio dialed up a fake field goal in over time called "Little Giants."

Also in 2010, Dantonio ran a fake play against Northwestern which he called "mouse trap."

Saturday, Michigan State once again tried a fake punt — this time against Purdue — which failed.

When asked what the fake punt was called, Dantonio showed some humor at his weekly press conference saying, "Frozen. I guess we froze. Had to let it go, right?"

As you may know (and you're lucky if you don't) "Let it go" is the hit song from Disney's animated movie, "Frozen".
