Man Found Dead In Warren Field Might Have Been There All Night

WARREN (WWJ) - Police are investigating after a 23-year-old man was found dead in a field in Warren.

The discovery was made Thursday morning near Ryan Road and Tuxedo Drive, just south of 14 Mile Road.

Officials tell WWJ that the man, a Sterling Heights resident, was found face down in the field on all fours, and the state of his body indicates that he likely died Wednesday night.

Police say the man was fully clothed and still had his wallet; there were no signs of foul play. Investigators believe the death might be drug related.

The man's name hasn't yet been released. A cause of death will be determined by an autopsy.

An investigation is ongoing.
