Body found in Detroit field identified as missing 27-year-old man, police say
The Detroit Police Department confirmed on Tuesday that the body found Monday evening was identified as a 27-year-old man who was reported missing last week.
Police say the body was discovered in the 19000 block of Fleming Street, near Seven Mile Road. The man was identified as 27-year-old Christian Epps, who was last seen on Oct. 29.
Epps was reported missing on Oct. 30 from the 5000 block of Pennsylvania. Family reported to police that Epps left his home and was last seen wearing a black Nike jacket, blue jeans, black socks and black Nike flip flops.
Police did not release any additional information at this time.
