Man Shot While Mowing Lawn In Detroit
DETROIT (WWJ) - A 43-year-old man is in critical condition after he was shot while cutting the grass Friday afternoon at a home in Detroit.
According to police a man walked up to the victim as he was mowing the lawn at relative's house, on Ponchartrain at Merton, and shot him several times.
The victim drove himself to the 12th Precinct and from there was sent to a local hospital.
A motive for the shooting was not immediately known. Police were using tracking dogs in the neighborhood to search for a suspect.
The victim's name was not released.
