Man Reported Missing From Michigan Festival Found Dead

GRANT TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WWJ) - A local man who was reported missing from a festival in west Michigan over the weekend has been found dead.

Officials say 29-year-old Matthew Vo, of Southfield, was found Monday in a lake in Grant Township, just north of Muskegon.

An autopsy will be performed, but the Oceana County Sheriff's Department says the cause of death appears to be a drowning.

Vo was reported missing Sunday from the annual Lakes of Fire festival on Lucky Lake. His car was parked at the campground where he was staying, but his friends told police they hadn't seen him since early that morning.

An investigation is ongoing.
