Man Remains On Life Support After Falling 7-Feet During Dave Matthews Band Concert At DTE Music Theatre

PONTIAC (WWJ) - Authorities say a 41-year-old man who was critically injured at a Dave Matthews Band concert at DTE Energy Music Theatre remains on life support.

The incident happened around 9 p.m. Tuesday at the outdoor amphitheater, located on Sashabaw Road in Clarkston.

According to the Oakland County Sheriff's Office, the Roseville man was injured after jumping from a seven-foot tall stone landscaping wall. When deputies arrived on the scene, the man was unconscious with a four-inch cut to his head.

The man was transported to McLaren Hospital in Pontiac in serious condition and placed on a ventilator.

Days after the incident, authorities say the man's condition remains the same.

Police did not indicate whether drugs or alcohol were factors in the incident, which remains under investigation.
