Man Lying In Roadway, Struck And Killed By Passing Van

MILTON TOWNSHIP, Mich. (AP) - A 20-year-old man who was lying in a northern Michigan roadway has been run over and killed by a passing van.

The man was struck before 7 a.m. Sunday in Milton Township, northeast of Traverse City reports MLive.com.

The motorist found the man after stopping to see what he hit.

The victim was pronounced dead at the scene. His name was not released Sunday.

The crash is under investigation.
