Man Killed Walking On I-75 In Madison Heights

MADISON HEIGHTS (WWJ) Michigan State Police crime scene investigators continued throughout the day Sunday to work the case of an apparent hit-and-run victim.

The incident happened before 6 a.m. Sunday along I-75 at 11 Mile Road in Madison Heights.

The Oakland County Medical Examiner's Office said the victim was a man in his early 20s. An autopsy is pending.

There's no word on why the man was out on the highway. The incident led to a three-hour closure of the highway.
