Man Killed In Double Shooting In Southwest Detroit; Suspect At Large

DETROIT (WWJ) - A double shooting on Detroit's southwest side leaves one person dead.

The shooting happened early Saturday morning on Liddlesdale Street near Schaefer Road, just east of I-75.

Police say a man in his 20s or 30s was shot and killed. A woman was also shot, but her injuries were described as non-life threatening.

Other circumstances surrounding the shooting weren't immediately clear.

Police say the woman was in a burgundy Ford Fusion when she was shot, but they're not sure what led to the shooting.

No arrests have been made.
