Man Killed In Crash On US-23 After Losing Control Of Car
YORK TWP. (WWJ) - A young man is dead after he apparently lost control of his vehicle and crashed along US-23 near Ann Arbor.
The accident happened around 1:15 a.m. Tuesday on southbound US-23 near Willis Road in York Township.
State police say 23-year-old Andrew Karl, of Tecumseh, somehow lost control of his vehicle and left the roadway before striking a tree. He was pronounced dead a short time later. No other injuries were reported.
Police say alcohol is not believed to be a factor in the crash, which remains under investigation.
