Man Found Shot To Death Inside Car In Detroit's Brush Park Neighborhood

DETROIT (WWJ) - Police are investigating after a man was found shot dead inside of a car that was parked in Detroit's Brush Park neighborhood in Midtown.

Police say they received a call around 7:20 a.m. Thursday from an unknown woman who reported a red Dodge Charger that was parked on Watson Street with the engine running and a man in the drivers' seat who wasn't moving.

Officers responded to the scene, near I-75 just south of Mack Avenue, and discovered that the man had been shot multiple times. He was declared dead at the scene.

At this point, police have not been able to identify the victim. They're investigating to find out who he is and why he was killed.

The gunman remains at large.
