Man Dies After Semi-Truck Rolls On Him At Midland County Home

LARKIN TOWNSHIP (AP) - Authorities say a 42-year-old man has died after the semi-truck he was working on rolled onto him at his home in Midland County.

The sheriff's department says William Jewell had been working on the truck all day Monday and was nearly finished around 10:45 p.m. when he was last seen working. The department says his fiance found him pinned under the truck around 2:15 a.m. Tuesday.

Investigators say Jewell was using a jack to raise the rear tires of the truck and was apparently lowering it when it rolled forward.
