Man Charged With Open Murder In Death Of Alleged Male Prostitute

ROMULUS (WWJ) - A Warren man is charged with open murder in relation to the fatal shooting of a Detroit man.

The Wayne County Prosecutor's Office formally charged 42-year-old Cryon Lacey of Warren Sunday morning after he allegedly shot and killed 33-year-old George Daniels.

The incident happened on the city's west side October 4. It's reported that Daniels was working as a male prostitute dressed up as a woman at the time of the shooting on Arizona Street.

Lacey was arraigned Sunday morning in 34th District Court in Romulus.
