Man Allegedly Victim Of Drive-By Shooting On Way To Work In Detroit

DETROIT (WWJ) A 64-year-old man was shot while he sat at the intersection of West End and South Street, near Zug Island, early Thursday, police said.

The victim told Detroit police he was on his way to work when he looked over and saw a black SUV pull up next to him.

The shooter rolled his windows down and started shooting at the victim, police said.

The victim was able to drive to work, where co-workers called 911 and the man was rushed to Oakwood Hospital in Dearborn. He is in stable condition.
