Macomb County Comerica Bank Robber On The Loose [PHOTOS]

HARRISON TWP. (WWJ) - Authorities in Macomb County are searching for a man who robbed a Comerica Bank in Harrison Township.

Sheriff Lt. John Michalke said the robber entered Comerica bank branch on Jefferson Ave. near Shook around 9:30 a.m. Monday, walked up to a teller, demanded money and implied he had a weapon.

Michalke said the thief was only in the bank for a minute before he took off with an undisclosed amount of cash.

It happened at the Comerica bank branch on Jefferson near Shook.

The man is described as approximately 5 feet, 5 inches tall and has a medium build.  He is 60-70 years of age with gray "stubble" on his face and was wearing a tan jacket, a dark-colored knit hat and a scarf wrapped around his head.

The robber got away with an undisclosed amount of money.
