Long Beach State Makes 'Mario Bros' Parody To Promote Their Upcoming Game [VIDEO]

If I ever had the chance to meet the creator of Nintendo, Fusajiro Yamauchi, I would thank that man for the countless hours of entertainment he has given me.

It all started with "Mario Brothers" and "Duck Hunt" for me. Then I transitioned into "Excitebike." Eventually, my life became that much better when I rented "Tecmo Super Bowl." Yes, I did indeed used to go to a video store and rent games for an entire week.

Who needed Netflix when you could look at the front and back covers of the actual game?

Long Beach State basketball has come up with a clever promo for their upcoming game against UC-Irvine. They made a great parody of Mario Brothers, which they call "Beach Bros."

It really is a great video, the sound effects will just have you singing the song the rest of the day and the graphics they include with highlights are about as good as it gets.

The first 1,000 people in attendance also get a "Beach Bros" shirt. I wonder if I could make it there in time?
