Livonia Police Officer Involved In Crash While Responding To Call

LIVONIA (WWJ) -- Livonia police say there were no serious injuries after an accident involving one of their officers on Saturday afternoon.

The two-car crash happened at Five Mile and Levan. Police say the officer was responding to a call when the crash happened.

Witnesses who were at the scene said the hood of the police car crumpled. The officer and other driver were treated at the scene.

An investigation is ongoing.
