Listen To Aretha's Cover Of Adele's Rolling In The Deep

I'm a huge Adele fan, but even at 72, The Queen of Soul is giving one of the best singers of today a serious run for her money.

Franklin's version of "Rolling in the Deep" debuted on Monday, Sept. 29. It's part of the Motown legend's diva classics cover album expected to be released October 21, 2014. The Adele cover is available now for digital download.

She makes the song her own with some liberties in the timing and you can't mistake that powerful voice.

There's some chatter about whether auto tune was used in the production of the track, but either way, there's nothing distracting from the enjoyment of this song. She absolutely nails it.

Update: Aretha's performance of the song on Late Night with David Letterman matches the quality of the studio track, but with her incredible live performance on top, all I can say is wow.
