Lions Sign Undrafted Rookie Free Agent OL Dominick Jackson

Allen Park, Mich. – The Detroit Lions announced today that they have signed undrafted rookie free agent OL Dominick Jackson. Contract terms were not disclosed.

Jackson joins the Lions following a two-year career at Alabama (2014-15). He started all 14 games for the Crimson Tide last season en route to Alabama's 45-40 win over Clemson in the 2016 College Football Playoff National Championship, earning Second Team All-SEC honors as the team's starting right tackle.

A native of Cupertino, Calif., Jackson began his college career at College of San Mateo, where he played two seasons (2012-13) before transferring to Alabama.
