Lions Sign SS Tavon Wilson

The Detroit Lions are making moves on the first day of the NFL new year.
CB Tavon Wilson, who spent his entire NFL career with the New England Patriots, tweeted that he will be joining the Detroit Lions.

Wilson tweeted out that he wanted to thank the Patriots moments before he tweeted out he would be joining the Lions.

Last season, Wilson appeared in nine games for the Patriots and made 13 tackles. Wilson's most productive season came in 2012 as a rookie and he recorded 41 tackles and four interceptions.
The 6-foot, 200 pound safety is 25.
Earlier Wednesday the Lions signed WR Marvin Jones and DT Haloti Ngata.
