Lions Re-Sign Kevin Ogletree To One-Year Deal

CBS DETROIT - A couple of hours after the Detroit Lions signed running back Joique Bell to a three-year extension, the club brought back another player from 2013 -- mid-season acquisition Kevin Ogletree.
The Lions brought in Ogletree in October as a response to losing wide receiver Nate Burleson to a broken arm suffered in a falling-pizza-induced car crash. Burleson's misfortune turned out to be Ogletree's gain, as Detroit has decided to retain Ogletree's services for at least the 2014 season.

Ogletree, a sixth-year veteran who played his college ball at Virginia, spent four seasons with the Dallas Cowboys before playing four games for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 2013 and then coming to Detroit. Ogletree caught 13 passes for 199 yards in 12 games for the Lions last year.
10 of Ogletree's 13 receptions went for first downs, including one touchdown.
