CBS DETROIT - The Detroit Lions re-signed linebacker Josh Bynes to a two-year deal Tuesday, the team announced.
Bynes, 25, joined the Lions early last season after starter Stephen Tulloch blew out his ACL while celebrating a sack of Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers.
Bynes proclaimed his excitement about his signing on Twitter and welcomed the team's newest addition, defensive tackle Haloti Ngata, for whom the Lions traded as soon as the league year began. Before coming to Detroit, Bynes also played for the Baltimore Ravens, where Ngata has spent his whole career.
