Lions CB Rashean Mathis Inactive For Game Against Chiefs

LONDON (AP) - Detroit Lions cornerback Rashean Mathis was ruled inactive for Sunday's game against the Kansas City Chiefs at Wembley Stadium.

Mathis has been ill but did practice Friday.

For the Chiefs, starting guard Ben Grubbs and defensive end Mike DeVito will miss the game. Neither made the trip to London.

Besides Mathis, the Lions will also be missing receiver TJ Jones, linebacker DeAndre Levy, defensive tackle Khyri Thornton, tackle Corey Robinson, tight end Tim Wright and defensive tackle Gabe Wright.

Quarterback Aaron Murray, cornerback Marcus Cooper, linebacker Ramik Wilson, tight end James O'Shaughnessy and receiver Frankie Hammond Jr. were inactive for the Chiefs.
