Leaders & Innovators: Cyndi Gave
CYNDI GAVE: President of the Metiss Group in Sterling Heights. The Metiss Group provides human resources support to companies by offering validated processes and tools to provide predictable and repeatable results that resolve human issues, from hiring to creating thriving environments. Having studied human behaviors for more than 20 years, Gave pursues her passion for aligning talent management strategies to business objectives. She is a frequent keynote speaker, presenting to professional audiences on a variety of behavioral science topics. Under her leadership, the Metiss Group increased revenue 29 percent in 2013, nearly a third of that from new business. Gave, along with Managing Partner John Gave, were awarded the 2014 Bud Bowers Blue Diamond Award from TTI Success Insights, a consultancy for employee assessments. This is the second time they received this award. Previously, Gave led human resources departments for FANUC Robotics, Gale Research, and the Handelman Co. She received her bachelor's degree in communications from Michigan State University and has done graduate studies at Wayne State University.
