Late Antlerless Firearm Deer Season Set To Start In Michigan

LANSING, Mich. (AP) - Michigan wildlife officials and hunters are preparing for the launch of late antlerless firearm deer season.

The Michigan Department of Natural Resources says the season begins Monday and runs through Jan. 1. A valid, private-land antlerless deer license is required to participate.

The hunt is restricted to private land in designated deer management units.

The department also reminds hunters to wear orange.
