Lansing Woman Killed After Car, Train Collide

ONEIDA TOWNSHIP, Mich. (AP) - A 41-year-old Lansing woman has been killed after her car was struck by a train in Eaton County's Oneida Township.

Sheriff's deputies say Catherine Farlee was the only person in the car at the time of Wednesday morning's crash just west of Grand Ledge.

CSX railroad officials reported the crash.

The crossing is marked, but does not have a gate or flashing lights. The train was traveling east and was stopped while authorities conducted their investigation.
