Lansing Man Wins $4M Playing Instant Game

LANSING (AP) - A Lansing man has won $4 million after playing the Michigan Lottery's World Class Millions instant game.

The man, who has chosen to remain anonymous, bought his winning ticket at the Waverly EZ Mart in Lansing. The player says he usually visits different stores when he plays the lottery and he had a feeling that the Waverly EZ Mart was "a lucky spot."

He visited Michigan Lottery headquarters Monday to collect his winnings. He chose to take his prize as a one-time lump sum payment of about $2.5 million rather than an annuity.

The man says he plans to pay off his debt and will continue playing the lottery.
