Kroger Fake Coupons Making The Rounds On Social Media Just Before Christmas

DETROIT (WWJ) - Think you're going Krogering today and getting almost half off your grocery bill?

There's a fake coupon making the rounds on Facebook claiming to offer 40 percent off all purchases.

"This giveaway is not affiliated with or supported by the Kroger Co. in any way," say Kroger officials in an online post.

Authorities warn: if the deal seems too good to be true, it probably is. If you have questions when you see 'out of this world' deals on products or at stores, you can always call directly and see if the online offer is being accepted.
