EAST LANSING, Mich. (AP) — Macgarrett Kings and Delton Williams are not on Michigan State's football roster at the start of spring practice. Both players have been facing legal issues over the past month.

Coach Mark Dantonio wouldn't comment much on their status when he spoke Tuesday, the first day of spring practice for the Spartans. Dantonio says anyone not on the depth chart is "sort of in limbo" at the moment.

Williams, a running back, was arraigned last week on a charge of brandishing a firearm in public. He was suspended from all team-related activities.

Kings, a wide receiver, was arrested Feb. 28 on charges that included being drunk and disorderly and interfering with police.
