KHL All-Star Pulls Off Incredible Spinning Shot

22-year-old forward Nikita Gusev spun his way to a goal in a shootout during a skills competition in the Kontinental Hockey League (KHL) All-star game.

Using the centrifugal force of the spin, Gusev keeps the puck on its side on the stick and spins it between his legs firing it around the goalie. Who looked like he had no idea what was going on -- (he's not alone). You'll likely have to watch this video full-screen, slow motion a couple times to understand the shot.

Gusev also plays for the Tampa Bay Lightning where this type of spinning shot is illegal. The NHL banned spinning shots in games as well as their own all-star skills challenge.
