Karsch And Anderson Bet On U-M, MSU Game; Donate Here To #ChadTough, Princess Lacey

SOUTHFIELD (CBS Detroit) It's a $250 bet between the co-hosts of the Karsch and Anderson show on 97.1 The Ticket.

You can join in, too. And everybody wins.

University of Michigan football fan Doug Karsch is betting co-host Scott "Gator" Anderson, an MSU fan, on the outcome of the big U-M, MSU game.

It's loser donates all so if Michigan loses, Karsch will donate $250 for charities related to MSU and U-M; and if State loses, Gator will donate to  both charities.

And they're not just any old charities, they're groups honoring special kids with inspirational stories. The MSU charity we've chosen honors Princess Lacey, a 6-year-old who stole hearts across the country after she was diagnosed with neuroblastoma, a fetal-nerve cell cancer.

She befriended Adreian Payne, who visited her over and over in the hospital and took her to games. Lacey, in a long, flowing blonde wig, helped Payne cut down the net after MSU won the Big Ten title. Get details about her story HERE.

For Michigan, the bet benefits a charity for Chad Carr, the 5-year-old grandson of Lloyd Carr who was recently diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumor. Get details about his story HERE.

We're inviting you to take the challenge with your friends: If Michigan wins, the MSU fans must donate to both charities; if MSU wins, U-M fans must donate to both charities.
