A couple that dresses together stays together -- or maybe not, the jury's still out.

Kate Upton appeared on 'The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon' Thursday night, and it appears Tigers' ace Justin Verlander made the trip with her.

On said trip, the couple decided to wear matching black leather coats, black jeans and matching black shirts under the jackets.

Maybe this was done coincidentally, but you won't be able to convince me that they just threw those outfits together, appeared in front of each other and then were like "Wow, we match!" The next line should have been "Hey, one of us has to change lest we embarrass ourselves out in public."

Come on Justin, matching outfits? He just added fuel to the fire for all the haters who say she's jinxing his game. She has certainly jinxed his wardrobe.

While in New York, the couple did attend a New York Knicks game.
