Justin Upton Leaves Game With Calf Injury

DETROIT (AP) — Justin Upton has left Detroit's game against Minnesota on Monday night because of a strained left calf.

Upton was taken out in the fourth inning. It wasn't clear when the left fielder hurt himself, but in the third inning, he tried to make a spectacular catch at the wall on Brian Dozier's home run.

Upton has 22 home runs so far in his first season with the Tigers.
