Judge Robbed, Threatened With Gun, On Way To Church In Detroit

DETROIT (WWJ) - A routine trip to church turns into a robbery for a local judge.

Detroit Police tell WWJ the 69-year old female victim was approached by a man at about 8 a.m. Sunday in Lafayette Park.

The suspect implied he had a gun and threatened to shoot her --  demanding the victim give up her purse. Which she did.

It contained about $200 cash and other items.

The suspect remains at large ... the black male is roughly 35 to 40 years of age, about 200-pounds with short hair.
