Judge Drops Terrorism Charge Against Man Accused Of Spray Painting Threats Against Police

DETROIT (WWJ) - Judge Deborah Lewis Langston dismissed a charge of terrorism against a Detroit man accused of spray painting death threats against police.

Stuart Horatio Lewis of Detroit was charged with one count of with threat of terrorism, a felony with a penalty of up to 20 years. While that charge was dropped, the judge bound Lewis over on the remaining counts of possession of marijuana and malicious destruction of a building.

Lewis allegedly spray painted graffiti that read: "Kill all police" and "Kill James Craig" on a building in the 200 block of W. State Fair in Detroit.

Lewis was also bound over on an unrelated charge of assaulting a man when his car was being repossessed. He'll be back in court on Dec. 20 on both cases.
