Years of blood, sweat, tears, sleepless nights, endless drives, countless injuries and scars are about to pay off. You're about to find out you're going to become a champion in WWE.

You've pictured this day your whole life. Somebody will give you the heads up that Vince McMahon wants to see you in his office. When you get there you see Triple H, Stephanie McMahon and a host of other WWE brass are sitting in the room.

The door closes behind you. The hour-long meeting begins with people congratulating you then segues into mapping out the perfect plan to capture the title. The idea collectively brainstormed by the group is flawless. Vince and company give you one more pat on the back and send you out to reach your destiny.

That's how it happens, right?

Not even close.

In the case of Jey Uso and his twin brother Jimmy, it was a very quick, very casual and pretty much said in passing. And they had no idea it was coming.

A few short hours later they defeated the New Age Outlaws to become WWE Tag Team Champions.

That's the way it works sometimes in the WWE.

I had the opportunity to talk with Jey ahead of a WWE Live Event this Saturday in Fairfax, Va. at the Patriot Center, and he told me all about how it works.

In case you're wondering, it's not much different learning you're going to lose the titles.

The full interview can be heard at the top of the page and is more than worth your time.
