Jared Leto To Follow In Heath Ledger's Footsteps

Fresh off his Oscar win for his role in Dallas Buyers Club, Jared Leto will star in in Suicide Squad as The Joker. The role of The Joker, of course, was played by the late Heath Ledger in The Dark Knight.

The film, directed by David Ayer, will also star DC Comic villains played by Will Smith, Tom Hardy, Margot Robbie, and Cara Delevinge---to name a few.

The film is set to release on August 5, 2016. Warner Bros. has not yet decided who will play the part of Amanda Waller...but rumor has it Oprah is in the running!
