When NBA MVP Steph Curry released his Under Armour shoe in June the internet went wild with jabs at one of the biggest basketball stars on the planet.
The basic white shoes got compared to the ones you would see on your average clueless dad -- or maybe even the ones you would see on a janitor. They look like the kind mental institutions put on patients to keep everything safe and bland.
Tuesday afternoon, James Harden's new Adidas shoes leaked online and were mocked even more than the shoe that UA put out for Curry. They might be the least attractive shoe to ever hit the market for an NBA player.
Elderly people will probably snub them for their lack of style. Heck, the blind will turn them down. Note, too, that Harden dated Khloe Kardashian. Apparently her style didn't rub off on him.
People on Twitter didn't hold back when talking about the shoes.

In August of 2015 Harden agreed to a $200 million deal over 13 years with Adidas after previously been with Nike.
"We're a brand of creators and James embodies that more than any athlete in the game," Chris Grancio, adidas Global Basketball General Manager, said in a statement, at the time of the agreement.
I can tell that Adidas thought they had a slam dunk of a shoe here but I highly doubt these will be flying off the shelf.
