Jabrill Peppers Blasts NCAA For 'Lil Indentured Servant Checks,' Infers He Can't Afford To Eat

CBS DETROIT - Michigan defensive back Jabrill Peppers appears to have picked a side in the debate of whether the NCAA is taking good enough care of college athletes. Peppers ranted on the issue Tuesday on his Twitter account.

In fact, the 6 foot 1 inch tall, 205 pound 19-year-old intimated that he can't afford to eat. Peppers was rated by rivals.com as one of the five-star recruits of 2014; "Sports Illustrated" ranked him as one of sports "future game changers."

Peppers addressed the topic again Wednesday morning.

In the ongoing discussion about whether college athletes should be paid, one Twitter user pointed out to Peppers that by NCAA rules players are supposed to have unlimited access to food.

"Many loopholes in that rule my friend lol," Peppers responded.
